TikTok Live Photo Downloader
Save the moving version of any TikTok as an HD video, or keep the still frame — clean, with no watermark.
No sign-up, and we never keep your videos.
Want stories? Type the account's @username.
Motion kept, watermark gone
The moving version comes through as a clean MP4, in HD when the creator uploaded one, with the sound and the few seconds of motion intact, and no TikTok logo in the corner.
Still frame in one tap
Need the picture rather than the clip? The same result lists the cover image at full size, so a frozen frame of the moment is one tap away, no screenshot needed.
No app, no account, no cost
Paste a link in any browser on iPhone, Android, Windows or Mac. There is nothing to install, no account to create and no fee, and Tiklo keeps no copy of what you save.
Download a TikTok live photo as a moving MP4 or a still image
A TikTok live photo is a picture that moves: a short burst of motion that plays for a second or a few seconds. Tiklo saves it in the format you actually need — the moving version as an HD MP4 video, or the still frame as an image. Paste the link, press Download, and pick one; there is no app to install and no account to create.
Inside TikTok, keeping a moving picture is limited. The Live Photo option in the share menu does not appear for every post or on every phone, and in-app saves carry the TikTok logo. Tiklo fetches the original file from the source instead, so the motion stays smooth, the resolution stays high, and no watermark or username is stamped on it.
The most common reason to save a live photo is a moving wallpaper. Many Android phones let you set a short video as the lock-screen wallpaper straight from the gallery. On iPhone, the video has to become a Live Photo first: a video-to-Live-Photo converter app turns the MP4 you downloaded into one, which you can then set from the wallpaper settings.
Slideshows with live photos work too — the part most downloaders get wrong. Tiklo lists every slide of the post: still pictures save at full resolution, and each animated slide is marked LIVE with its own MP4 button, so you keep the motion and the sound instead of a frozen frame. The background music of the post is available as an MP3.
How to download a TikTok live photo
-
Copy the link
In the TikTok app, tap Share → Copy link on the live photo, or on the slideshow that contains it.
-
Paste it above
Paste the link into the box at the top of this page and press Download.
-
Pick motion or still
Save the HD MP4 to keep the movement, or the image to keep a still frame. Live slides are marked LIVE.
Why use a TikTok live photo downloader?
A screen recording keeps the interface, the watermark and a second round of compression, and cropping it by hand rarely ends well. A downloader hands you the original file, which is what a wallpaper or a keepsake needs.
Live wallpaper on Android
On a Samsung Galaxy, the Gallery's Set as wallpaper menu accepts a short video (about 15 seconds or less) for the lock screen; most other brands need a video wallpaper app. Both start from the clean MP4 you save here.
Live Photo on iPhone
iOS wants a Live Photo for a moving lock screen, so save the MP4, run it through a video-to-Live-Photo converter app, then choose it from the Wallpaper settings: it plays when you wake the phone (iOS 17.1 or later).
Keep a moving memory
A pet mid-jump, a friend's laugh, a trip caught in three seconds of motion: posts like these get deleted or go private without warning. Saving both versions today puts a copy in your own camera roll.
What the live photo downloader saves
Paste one link and Tiklo lists everything the post contains, each with its own button, in the quality the creator uploaded:
- The moving version as an MP4 without watermark, in HD when TikTok has an HD file for it, with its sound.
- The still frame as an image: the post's cover picture at full resolution, with no username or logo on it.
- Mixed slideshows in full: the stills as images, the animated slides as separate MP4 clips, so nothing is flattened.
- The post's sound as an MP3, which is the part a wallpaper drops but an edit or a repost may want.
- The title and the creator's name next to each result, so a saved file is easy to credit later.
Limitations
- iPhone: Tiklo gives you an MP4, not an Apple Live Photo file. A video-to-Live-Photo converter app has to turn it into one before iOS accepts it as a moving wallpaper.
- Private accounts: a live photo on a private profile is only visible to approved followers, and no link will fetch it here or anywhere else.
- Original quality only: you get the file as the creator uploaded it. A blurry or low-resolution live photo stays that way; Tiklo does not upscale or sharpen.
Set it as a live wallpaper: Android vs iPhone
On Android, open the MP4 in the gallery. A Samsung Galaxy sets it from More, Set as wallpaper, Lock screen, with a scissors icon for clips over about 15 seconds; most other brands need a video wallpaper app. On iPhone, turn the MP4 into a Live Photo with a converter app, then add it from Settings, Wallpaper, with the Live Photo toggle on. It moves on the Lock Screen when you wake the phone, on iOS 17.1 or later.
Content rights and privacy
A live photo belongs to the person who posted it. Tiklo does not host or keep any of it: when you press Download, it looks the link up and passes the file from TikTok's servers to your device; nothing is uploaded, and no copy stays on our side. A moving wallpaper or a keepsake on your own phone is personal use; posting someone's clip as your own is not, so ask the creator before you share it.
